Questions (order)
- When we make questions, we place an AUXILLARY VERB (do/be/can) first, then the SUBJECT, then the VERB:
“Is Sam short or tall?”
“Can you help me?”
“Do you like football?”
When we ask questions in all English VERB TENSES, the SUBJECT is before the VERB, although many other words change:
“Did you call your mother?”
“Have the children been studying English?”
“Had she already bought the groceries?”
“Will the suitcases be packed?”
“Should I exercise with my brother on Saturday?”
His voice and lyrics are amazing and easy to learn.
