Lorde released her smash hit, ‘Royals’ in 2013, but the song continues to be incredibly popular. As with may songs in English, Lorde uses some grammar that is technically incorrect. She often says don’t when she should say doesn’t and ain’t when she should say isn’t, both of which are grammatically incorrect, but commonly accepted in popular music. Can you think of any other songs that do the same thing?
