We use yet to talk about any time before the present. We usually place yet at the end of the sentence or question:
Is dinner ready yet? (Is dinner ready by/before now)
I haven’t done my homework yet.
Have your cousins arrived yet?
Is the weather warm enough for sunbathing yet?
Wait a minute, I’m not ready yet!
We use still to talk about a continuing action or non-action.
We can use still to talk about something that continues to happen; we can also use still to talk about something that continues not to happen.
We place still after the subject and before the verb:
Dinner is still cooking.
I still haven’t done my homework.
My cousins still haven’t arrived.
The weather is still cold.
I’m still waiting for you!
