One of my favorite lyrics is Aqualung from Jethro Tull.
They use « like » at many place into it.
Ex: Feeling like a dead duck
Ex: And the flowers bloom like madness in the spring.
They also use « away » as in this sentence:
Aqualung my friend, don’t you start away uneasy.
