Some more summer fun music to practice English with! Today we propose a classic pop song, Surfin’ USA by the American band Beach Boys. Although it is a very old song, released in the 1960’s, its happy-go-lucky beat and simple lyrics still bring a feeling of summer freedom on sandy beaches. The song mentions many spots for surfing, mainly in California but also some in Hawaii and Australia. Enjoy!

Will & Going To
- WILL and GOING TO are both used to talk about the future. However, we need to know when to use each of them.
- Here’s a list of uses:
- WILL
- – To talk about future plans. For example: We will spend Christmas at home.
- – To make promises. For example: I promise I will pick you up from work tomorrow.
- – When making decisions at the time of speaking. For example: Are you leaving? Then I’ll get ready and go with you.
- – To make predictions. For example: Lakers will win this year.
- – To offer yourself to do something for someone. For example: I’ll help you with homework in 10 minutes.
- GOING TO
- – To talk about situations that are happening soon. For example: I’m going to watch a movie tonight.
- – For pre-planed situations. For example: We are going to get married next year.
