Future with Will
- We use the Simple Future to talk about predictions, promises, offers, and spontaneous decisions. We form the Simple Future with WILL plus the infinitive form of the verb.
- The structure in the affirmative form is:
- Subject + will + verb + object
- For example:
- – We will survive. (Promises)
- – It will rain tomorrow. (Prediction)
- – I will be with you the whole day. (Promises)
- – I will help you with that. (Offer)
- – I will call you right back. (Spontaneous decision)
- We can also use the contracted form ‘LL. For example:
- – She’ll be home by 10 o’clock.
- – They’ll give us a hand for the move.
