Productivity Special! With today’s exercise, we finish the series of top songs that extremely successful people have in their playlists. Hard Headed Woman by Cat Stevens is another song that appears in all the playlists of people like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Barack Obama.
Hard Headed Woman was released in the 1970 album, Tea for the Tillerman which launched Cat Steven’s career worldwide and offers some of Stevens’ best-known songs. In September 2020 he released a remake of the same album, to commemorate its 50th anniversary.
The lyrics are quite straightforward. The singer states that he’s looking to find a “hard headed woman“, giving the term a positive meaning: someone who is down to earth, not frivolous or looking for a man to pay her way. In other words, a woman who will cause him to always be at his best. Simple words with a deep meaning. Enjoy!

Future with WILL
- We use the Simple Future to talk about predictions, promises, offers, and spontaneous decisions. We form the Simple Future with WILL plus the infinitive form of the verb.
- For example:
- – (Lyrics) “One who will take me for myself.” “The rest of my life will be blessed.”
- – It will rain tomorrow. (Prediction)
- – I will be with you the whole day. (Promises)
- – I will help you with that. (Offer)
- – I will call you right back. (Spontaneous decision).
- The structure in the affirmative form is:
- Subject + will + verb + object
- We can also use the contracted form ‘LL. For example:
- – She’ll be home by 10 o’clock.
- – They’ll give us a hand for the move.
