What about another power ballad to start off the week? For today’s lyrics, we bring you The Reason by Hoobastank.  Released more than a decade ago, the song is Hoobastank’s most commercially successful single, peaking at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2004. Enjoy!

English has over 100 prepositions. We use prepositions to show relationships between things.

We often place the noun or pronoun after prepositions. Some common examples include: to, for, from and with:

To (receiver of an action):

to my mother every month.

To (position in time):
This store is open Monday to Friday.

For (purpose):

From (origin):
The gift is from Mary.

From (starting point):

With (using):
